…to whom He also presented Himself alive after His
suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking
of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. – Acts 1:3
On careful examination of the
above verse the following important points come in to light and need to be
examined carefully.
- Jesus has presented
many infallible proofs so as to make his followers believe that he was alive
for forty days.
- Jesus has “suffered”
on cross but not he died. And after having been suffered and cured Jesus has
busily involved again in carrying on the gospel preaching what he used to do
before his crucifixion.
- “Many infallible
proofs” means so many distinct or crystal clear evidences. In this regard very
important to note is that- what Jesus has proved at last presenting so many
infallible proofs in reality? Whether he had proved himself to be alive? Or he
proved that he was resurrected having been died physically? If Jesus were
really died physically and he intended to prove himself to be resurrected what
would be the need to struggle for forty days showing so many infallible proofs?
Is it not enough to prove himself to be resurrected showing single proof of his
spiritual body before the people? And if at all Jesus intended to prove himself
to be resurrected then what would be the need of showing many infallible proofs
to prove himself to be alive?
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “RESURRECTED BODY" AND “SPIRITUAL BODY?”
Let us have a glance over the
following verse spoken by Paul in which he shows the main deference between the
“Resurrected body” and “Spiritual body”
So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it
is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory.
It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body,
it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a
spiritual body. – 1 Corinthians 15:42-44
Paul is giving very important
information in the above verse as regards to the two types of the bodies which
are…
- NATURAL BODY OR
BIOLOGICAL BODY.
- SPIRITUAL BODY OR
RESURRECTED BODY.
This means Natural or biological body can be regarded to be perishable
and weak body where as the Spiritual or resurrected body can be regarded to be
imperishable, glorious and powerful body.
WHAT FOR THE DISPELS TERRIFIED AND SUPPOSED JESUS TO BE A SPIRIT?
Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them,
and said to them, "Peace to you." But they were terrified and
frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. And He said to
them, "Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your
hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me
and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I
have." When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His
feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marvelled,
He said to them, "Have you any food here?" So they gave
Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate
in their presence. – Luke 24:36-42
In this verse there are five important points to be considered. Viz.,
- According to the verse “But they were terrified and
frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit” it is clearly
understand that when Jesus has suddenly come suddenly and stood in the midst of
the dispels who were in the imagination that Jesus had died, they have
terrified and frightened and supposed themselves that we have seen a “Spirit.”
- Then Jesus understanding their position he had commanded saying "Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your
hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me
and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have." So as to prove himself that he was not died and not a “Spirit” or
“resurrected” but was alive with the biological body.
- If we carefully observe what for Jesus has ordered as “Behold my hands and my feet” we can get the
answer that “for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you
see I have” why because of the spirit does not have the flesh
and bones is that one who transforms as spirit having resurrected one becomes equal to the angels (Luke 20:36).
- Even Jesus has proved himself to be alive showing his natural body the
dispels involved still in surprising having a little bit of confusion. Then to
make them believe completely that he was not died and resurrected and become as
a spirit Jesus has asked them as "Have you
any food here?"
- Then Immediately the dispels “gave Him a
piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb And He took it and ate in their
presence” Thus Jesus have proved himself showing many
infallible proofs to be alive but not died and resurrected as imagined by the
church.
THE ANOTHER PROOF
THAT JESUS HAS SHOWN TO PROVE HIMSELF TO BE ALIVE BUT NOT DIED!
Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when
Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have
seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the
print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my
hand into His side, I will not believe." And after eight days
His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors
being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace to
you!" Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and
look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be
unbelieving, but believing." – John 20:24-27
According to the so far analysis of the above verses what the infallible
proofs that Jesus has shown to prove himself to be alive are -
- Jesus has shown his natural body commanding his
immediate dispels saying “for a spirit does not have
flesh and bones as you see I have.” This is the clear proof to confirm that Jesus was not
died and resurrected and become as a spirit but he was alive consist of the
natural body. This is the first Proof.
- Again Jesus has ordered dispels saying "Have you any food here?" and he ate "a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb in their presence” in order to prove that he was having the general natural
body consisting hunger and human weaknesses. This is the second proof.
- More importantly Jesus has ordered Thomas saying "Reach your finger here, and look at my hands.” By this situation we can conclusively arrive at the
point that Jesus did not undergo the process of resurrection to mean as he did
not get any spiritual change that should be taken place in the process of
resurrection. But he remains in the general Natural body. This is the third
Proof.
- Again Jesus had ordered Thomas saying “reach your
hand here, and put it into my side.” Why Jesus
ordered so is that the Roman soldier had pierced his side with a spear (John
19:34) therefore his side got wound. This is the forth proof.
In this way Jesus has shown so many infallible
proofs to prove himself to be alive and did not die on the cross and
resurrected becoming as a spirit.
WHAT FOR THE DISPELS COULD
NOT RECOGNISE JESUS AFTER HAVING BEEN
CRUCIFIED?
Now when she had said this, she turned around
and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. – John 20:14
But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the
shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. – John 21:4
What for the dispels could not recognise Jesus even
he stood before them? Many preachers say that because of he was in the
spiritual body the dispels could not recognise whereas some give the lame
excuses saying the eyes of the dispels have been closed and not yet opened to
recognise their master. But the Bible shows the reason why they could not
recognise Jesus when he appears to his dispels as here under.
After that, He appeared in another form to
two of them as they walked and went into the country.. – Mark 16:12
WHAT WAS THAT ANOTHER FORM?
Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there,
and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, "Woman, why
are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" She, supposing Him to be the
gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you
have laid Him, and I will take Him away.
– John 20:14, 15
On careful examination of the above verse it
becomes clear that Jesus was in disguise of GARDENER. If Jesus were really died
and resurrected what would be need of remain in the form of Gardner? Does a
resurrected one ever be changed in to the form of Gardner instead of becoming
as spiritual one equal to Angels?
Thus Jesus was in disguise of Gardner after having
been crucified by the Jews due to the threat of further attack by his enemies.
Therefore for fear of being re-arrested Jesus has changed his appearance as
Gardener when he happened to meet his dispels in secret places. Thus the
Disguise of Jesus as GARDENER is the strong proof to confirm that Jesus did not
die on the cross and did not resurrected but he was alive even after he
crucified on cross as God has saved him from the ignominious death on cross.
